Yikes, let me tell you, there is a good reason why A Small Village is such a hard lewd visual novel to track down. I have actually played a few games by this developer and I think that for the most part, they are one of the best around when it comes to lewd art, especially when it comes to creating a more thicker looking female character. However, there are some games that just go a little bit too far and I can see why some people feel that way about this one.

Haven’t We Seen This Before?

Now, in theory, there is nothing special or different about the story that A Small Village is trying to tell. It is about this very hot milf who is a single mom and one day she is asked to look after a “young guy” for a while. The story to be honest with you is kind of hard to follow, but you get the idea, hot milf and a younger guy being forced to live with each other and stuff is bound to go down.

Emi Is The Best

I will say that the best thing A Small Village has going for it is the character of Emi. Ok, so she probably should be on some kind of register somewhere, but there is no denying that she is a real dream milf here and I think her design alone is probably going to be what makes most people want to play this game, I know that was certainly the case for me, well it was to a degree, but then I had to stop and trust me when I tell you I had a very good reason for wanting to stop!

Yeah, That Is Way Too Young

I have been turned off by lewd games in the past for having characters that look way too young. That is basically what we have here with A Small Village, but it is not a female character this time. It is a young boy and I am sure that the intent here was to have him seem like a teenager who is of legal age, but the design of this character makes him look like he is about 10 and it is more disturbing than anything else. The size difference between him and Emi is really gross too, it is like a little creepy looking goblin banging this hot milf!

Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

A little reference to rockers The Clash there for you. Anyway, the gameplay of A Small Village is very much that of your typical lewd visual novels that you have played a million times before. To be honest with you, I am actually down for the younger guy having his way with a milf storyline and I have played through it many times before. However, even though this is a straightforward lewd visual novel, I ended up getting really turned off before I got to the end as the design of that guy was just way too off putting for me.

Look, from a technical point of view there is nothing wrong with A Small Village, it works fine, runs fine, and is your standard lewd visual novel. The art is well done, Emi looks fantastic and in any other game, I would be all over this. However, I strongly suggest you look at the male character before you play and decide if you can deal with how young he looks. Usually, I think that perhaps it is just me being a bit sensitive when I say a character looks too young, but with this one, I just do not see how anyone can not think this dude is like 12 years old at the most! I really cannot give this one a score!

Pros:

Emi is one very hot looking milf
The times we get to just see Emi are good
The game runs fine
This at its core is a very standard and easy to play lewd visual novel

Cons:

The design of the guy is just so off putting that it made me feel gross playing this
There is no way in hell that I would ever fire up this game again!
