Restore Her Career

Today we are having a look at Restore Her Career which is a pretty neat lewd visual novel with a fun art style and a dark story about a son corrupting the mother to do what he wants. Yep, if you are not into the whole mother/son relationship thing this is probably not going to be for you. I will admit that it is not really something I get a lot out of if I am being honest with you. However, when a game has renders as good as this one does, it is hard not to want to keep on playing it.

I Am The Man Now!

I have to say right off the bat that the MC in this game is a complete asshole! Restore Her Career features one of the most twisted, mean, and unlikeable MCs I have seen in quite a long time, but that is exactly the point of this guy! He has moved back in with his mother who was a model, but she lost her job. Needing to make money, he starts to corrupt and manipulate his mother, his aunt, and any other females that he comes across to get sex and pretty much what he wants!

Keeping Still

Visually, I love the way that Restore Her Career looks. The game leans more towards Asian looking chicks and that is ok with me. They all have these massive exaggerated boobs which are awesome and even though the game is going for a more realistic look, they have kind of made it work. The sex renders in the game are awesome and as the game is a bit of a slow burn, you really feel like you have earned those lewd scenes when you get them. The sex scenes are not animated, but at least each one does have a few different images.

He Is Going To Get What He Wants

The gameplay of Restore Her Career is something of an acquired taste in my humble opinion. There are a couple of reasons that I say this. You see, first of all, this is very close to being a kinetic visual novel as you do get to make a few decisions, but ultimately, this game is going to take you where it wants you to go. Also, the whole MC being a jerk and the corruption/blackmail thing that is at the center of the story mean that some people may have a tough time getting into the game. The game is also quite slow paced, but that was something I liked about it, but at the same time I can see why some people may not like the slower pace of the story.

Pros:

• This is a pretty intense corruption-based story
• If you want to play as an MC who is a jerk, this guy is a major jerk
• The game has some fantastic looking female renders
• The story is a bit of a slow burn which can really get its hooks into you

Cons:

• The MC is not a likable guy at all
• There is incest in this game and that is not something everyone likes
